SmCo Magnets
· Sm-Co magnet is made from cobalt and rare earth.
· Materials are more costly by weight but obtain (Sm-Co) in small package.
· Multi -polar magnetization is possible.
· Max. working temperature is 350 C, the highest of the rare - earth magnet
· Many standard sizes and grades are available.
· Can be machined to sizes before magnetization
· Widely used in motors, watch, transducers, instruments, detectors, generator. |
